Willa Hendricks paints on location in the Blue Ridge foothills, hiking a small watercolor kit up to the same meadows every season to catch the wildflowers at peak bloom. Hendricks Field & Fern started in 2022 as a way to fund more of those hikes.

Each botanical design is dated and named for the exact trail where Willa painted it, and the shop notes are basically a hiking journal.
