Marisol Ochoa grew up watching her grandmother press marigolds and agave leaves into paper for Día de los Muertos altars. Ochoa & Flor, founded in 2020, is her attempt to keep that same pressed-flower texture alive on fabric.

Each design starts as an actual botanical rubbing from her courtyard garden before Marisol redraws it in gouache. The palette leans on the ochres and greens of the Oaxaca valley — nothing is color-corrected to look more “on trend.”
