During Lock Down, I started sketching these Pinnie Hinnies I had created on my iPad Pro 12.9” using the Procreate App.
They were based from some of my childhood memories growing up in the coal mining village of Pegswood in the North East of England.
Pinnie is the term for the apron women wore constantly through their working days, and Hinnie is an affectionate name we here in Northern England, called women back in the day, hence Pinnie Hinnies.
