About Us
We are an online artist community & store that allows any artist to upload designs, create a store, market themselves and make money from their work. We focus on creating value from digital art, Tee shirts, canvas prints and NFT’s that prove ownership. The more a single design sells, the more valuable it becomes.

FAQ
Who owns the rights To My Artwork?
The artist always retains the rights to the original artwork, the customer owns a numbered piece of art, but not the rights to it.
The artist is more than welcome to sell their original piece or a signed original (for digital works) on their own. We will even help & encourage this!
How do commissions work?
The base commission starts at $2.50. After each order is fulfilled the value of the art increases by .10 cents. Which adds up faster than you think. That added value is split 50-50. Commissions are paid out a thresholds of $20+
How much money Can an Artist make?
The earning potential is truly staggering, I know an extra .10 cents doesn’t sound like a lot, but it is geometric growth. At 100 sales the artist earns $252.50
At 500 sales, an artist earns $6,262.00
At 2000 sales, (for one design) an artists total commission would be around $100,050.00!
Commission (rough estimate)
- 100 sales -$502.50
- 500 sales – $7,512
- 1,000 sales – $27,525
- 1,500 sales – $60,037
- 2,000 sales – $105,050
- 2,500 sales – $162,562
- 3,000 sales – $232,575
- 3,500 sales – $315,087
- 4,000 sales -> $410,100
- and so on…
This is all based on 1 design being sold x number of times.
Do I have to pay taxes?
If you end up having to pay taxes on earnings, then those are good problems to have! Depending on your age, filing status, and dependents, for the 2022 tax year, the gross income threshold for filing taxes is between $12,550 and $28,500. So until you make it big, you will more than likely not have to worry about taxes.
Can I sell my work on my own?
You are in total control and always retain ownership of your art (unless you sell the rights).
With that being said, an artist cannot cross sell a work of art or design outside of hollajack.com.
- If you are selling the piece on hollajack.com you cannot sell it anywhere else (except for the original).
- If the piece is removed from Hollajack.com the artist is free to sell it on their own again,
- but if the design is returned to hollajack.com all commissions will be reset wit an asterisk on the numbering.
- Removed designs will can be subject to permanent removal.
These rules are only in place to protect the value of art in regards to the system we have created and in no way a punishment to the artist.
In fact, if any artist is looking to build there own website, we will help you build and market that site as well, regardless of if they stay with us or not!
Can A Customer make copies of a purchased piece and sell those copies?
No, any duplication and sale of a work is considered fraud and or counterfeit. Which we will actively pursue to protect our artists works.
Can a customer resell their Piece Of Purchased Art?
Absolutely, as long as it is the original numbered piece they bought! We are even working on a reseller network so customers can buy sell and trade their numbered prints. Obviously, the order number, quality, and verifying NFT all play a factor into each piece, but that’s all part of the game.
How do the canvas add-ons work
At the moment, the add-on canvas prints are priced at almost cost (subject to change) to encourage our customers to hang their art on the wall. NFT’s come with every purchase, but customers may have to pay the minting fees themselves depending on what blockchain it comes on. All items are numbered with the same print number for provenance and should be sold together.
Cost Of Product to customer (rough estimate)
- 100 sales -$32
- 500 sales – $72
- 1,000 sales – $122
- 1,500 sales – $172
- 2,000 sales – $222
- 2,500 sales – $272
- 3,000 sales – $322
- 3,500 sales – $372
- 4,000 sales -> $422
- And so on…..
This is all based on 1 design being sold x number of times.
How can a customer be sure the art is worth the price?
This is a complex question, and for deeper explanation please click here!
Put simply, our art grows in value based on demand, the more demand, the more the piece is worth. The outside factors would be number, condition, if it is signed, was there an error, etc…
We work to verify Provenance and protect the value of all the art we sell as well.
